Somewhere in Central Vietnam. Off a public beach. Tranquil, peaceful, lovely. Mostly for the spectator, of course. For some this is equal parts promise of hardship and livelihood. For others it is the promise of suffering and death. And not at all peaceful. I am glad to be on the shore and just a spectator.
